What's Wrong With Rap Music
About three years ago I got into rap and hip-hop when Usher was big on the scene. I think my husband thought this was an early (very early) mid-life crisis. Unfortunately for him, I still like that kind of music. I know most of players and I can’t wait to hear T-Pain’s latest. I’d tell you the title, but you wouldn’t approve.

okay, first of all, zack rapp is an IDIOT. rock music isn't screaming, it's all about rhythm, melody, and MEANINGFUL lyrics. not, "i'm gonna go rape some hooker and bust a cap, sell drugs, and steal money." what you're talking about is heavy metal. and hate to break it to you, but in that kind of music they talk about the same things that rap artists do. so basically you're saying rap doesn't make sense (not scence). you CAN dance to that kind of music, but it's not grinding and basically having sex on a dance floor like you do to rap. ha kay thanks.

First of all, forgive me if it is offensive to express concern for the future. If rap music was a positive tool to shape our future (young children) there would be no problem to listen to such lyrics; but when young people are trying to mimic the lifestyle of the rapper then there lays the issue.

Rap music is great but the attitudes of these rappers and entertainers are terrible, they have forgotten the reasons they make money - Consumers. Check out my blog at

I'm just writing a paper on rap music as an influential cause in juvenile delinquency. I would love to hear some thoughts about that. Could the lyrics be too explicit and cause deviance in youth? Or do you think that people's perception about rap being a negative influence could be due to racial discrimiation and correlation with black crime?

first of all theres nothing wrong with rap the problem is some people have a problem with young black men making millions of dollars thats what the problem is they dont argue about violent movies or sexual oriented movies wich is a lot more convincing than someone just talkin about

I overall think that rap music is good and i enjoy listening to it, but don't get me wrong about what majority of rap music is about. It is a way to express yourself through music like any other type of music but that some of it is garbage. Some of it is just useless information thrown together like "o im a pimp" or "damn look at that ass"

Rap music is the best. it has a good rymthem and it sounds good. who in the fuck wants to listen to rock. ya lets listen to rock with some body hollering and screaming. and the song does not make any scence. rap is something you can dance to something that you can enjoy. how in the fuck can you enjoy rock. hollering and screaming about stuff that does not make any scence. people that like rock can fuck off!
