Creo que soy el �nico pringado al que le ha gustado el single de Jennifer Lopez de este a�o, porque ha sido un fracaso de cr�tica y ventas, y encima se ha descubiero que Sony BMG soborn� a algunas emisoras para su difusi�n. La cancioncita va claramente detr�s de Beyonc�, pero creo que les ha salido bien. Lo de las trompetas es pegajos�simo, pero es que adem�s me encanta el giro que da la canci�n a partir del segundo estribillo. Al final se hace pesada, eso s�. Si la pinch�is, en el minuto 2.45, bajadla y quitadla.

While I am on a rant, I might as well keep going. Jennifer Lopez is another one. She is a mediocre singer at best. Her acting ability doesn’t stretch much beyond light comedy. An academy award nomination isn’t within her reach. She speaks unintelligently. I guess I just fail to see any real talent in her. She is good at getting married often, but that isn’t much of a positive attribute.

Roger Ebert: Faithful readers will know I’m an admirer of Jennifer Lopez, and older readers will recall my admiration for Jane Fonda, who I first met on the set of “Barbarella” (1968), so it has been all uphill ever since. Watching “Monster-in-Law,” I tried to transfer into Fan Mode, enjoying their presence while ignoring the movie. I did not succeed. My reveries were interrupted by bulletins from my conscious mind, which hated the movie.

The possibility of watching Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda tear each other apart in "Monster-in-Law" inspires a certain morbid curiosity — something akin to Godzilla vs. Mothra, with bronzed skin and blond highlights.

Jennifer Lopez was pretty good. She seems very normal and I didn't detect any traces of the bad behavior that she's rumoured to exhibit off-camera. Perhaps the current marriage is good for her. The way she speaks is very much "Jenny From The Block," for lack of a better term. It's doubtful she's gone through any speech or elocution classes to clean up her grammar or phrasing. She was promoting her new movie with Jane Fonda.

So I went to see the new Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda film "Monster in Law." Once again, I'll have to say - skip it.

In the film, Jennifer Lopez is a temp-a-holic. She holds more jobs at one time than most people have in their lifetime - a dog walker, doctor's office secretary, artist, waitress, etc...

"Please don't support Jennifer Lopez or her bloody business," according to a website that the animal rights group has devoted to the singer, actress and now fashion designer. "Many hot designers, including Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Todd Oldham, Marc Bouwer, and others have ... created synthetic alternatives that are hip, humane, and easily available and don't turn animals into fashion victims."
