Jessica Simpson can’t catch a break! First her husband, Nick Lachey, breaks her heart and then tries to take everything else, then come all the pictures and articles about plastic surgery, and now she’s being sued by a clothing company for $100 million - even Nicky isn’t asking for that much.

So O and A are playing clips of taradise, that stupid show with Tara Reid. She makes Jessica Simpson look like John Nash. (yes some one you are saying who the hell is john nash, jmdb says he is the character Russell Crowe plays in A Beautiful Mind). This ditz even keeps spouting out how smart she is. Its almost as believably as Rob saying how straight he is.

While I do agree that Jessica Simpson’s latest video is racy and in the same vein as the Paris Hilton hamburger commercial, I don’t see why Christians would be any more upset with her than with Paris.

The Jessica Simpson thread started, literally, months ago, since she was in town filming an American classic, The Dukes of Hazard. Yes, right here in Baton Rouge. She went to many of my haunts, like Phil's and Walk-Ons. She was in the news. People were talking about her. More recently, though, my wife and I had gone to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and one of the trailers was for the Dukes. My wife told me that we would have to go see it, if not for its cinematic value, then to see if we could recognize the sights and faces of Baton Rouge. The second part of this recent thread happened night before last. My wife was surfing the channels and saw that Jessica and Nick had a special. I explained to wife who they were, and so we watched another show. Yesterday, a co-worker of mine said that he had watched the Jessica and Nick special, because he was unsure of what she sang or what it was she did. He commented that she sang okay, but her dancing evoked Elaine's dance from Seinfeld.

On the other hand, saw the trailer for the Dukes of Hazard movie – besides the question of why? what about the casting: Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke, Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg, or Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie? Obviously, their careers are headed for a dead end, good buddy.

So anyway, he’s talking on the Mtv and smiling and just being adorable when suddenly, they cut to another shot and Jessica Simpson is grinding her ass about 4 inches from his crotch. Turns out it was the “making of” her new video. So Willie Nelson stood their stoically and played his beat up old 6 string, and looked a bit bewildered as Jessica Simpson ground her hips into oblivion while licking her lips at him.
